Two airports are within comfortable reach. Reagan National and Dulles are each typically a 30–50 minute ride depending on traffic, in opposite directions across the American Legion Bridge or down the Clara Barton and GW Parkways. BWI is 55–85 minutes by way of I-495 and I-95. Every fare is confirmed before you book.
Potomac has no highway of its own, and that is part of its appeal. River Road carries most traffic in and out, Falls Road crosses it at Potomac Village, and Bradley Boulevard, Seven Locks Road and Democracy Boulevard connect toward Bethesda and the I-270 spur. These are two-lane and four-lane suburban roads with school zones and few alternatives, so timing matters more than distance.
Our chauffeurs know the River Road approach to the Beltway and how quickly it backs up on a weekday morning, and they know the alternatives through Cabin John and along the Clara Barton Parkway. For DCA we typically take the Beltway or the Clara Barton Parkway to the George Washington Memorial Parkway, a pleasant drive when it flows. BWI is reached by the Beltway and I-95.
