Every school presents its own puzzle. Georgetown's hilltop campus is ringed by narrow residential streets with little room to stop. George Washington University holds its university-wide commencement on the National Mall, where security perimeters and closed streets mean the nearest drop-off may still be a walk away, and school ceremonies happen separately in Foggy Bottom. American University sits on Ward Circle at Nebraska and Massachusetts Avenues, Howard University along Georgia Avenue, and Catholic University in Brookland beside the Basilica.
In the suburbs, George Mason's ceremonies draw heavy traffic onto Braddock Road and Route 123 around the Fairfax campus and its arena, and the University of Maryland fills Route 1 and the campus gates in College Park. Ceremony locations and schedules change from year to year, so we plan each booking from the school's published instructions for that commencement and agree drop-off and pickup points with you in advance.
A graduation party is rarely two people.
