Because the ride is short, the risk is not distance but timing: a closed lane on the parkway or a backup at the airport entrance can double it. Dulles is a longer crossing of Northern Virginia by way of the Beltway and the Dulles Access Road, commonly 40–65 minutes depending on traffic. BWI means the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, I-295 or the Beltway, and the Baltimore–Washington Parkway; allow about an hour or more at peak times. All airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary wait for domestic arrivals and 60 for international.
